Indication : Treatment of edema associated w/ heart failure & renal hepatic disorders. HTN, either alone or together w/ other antihypertensives eg, ACE inhibitors & β-blockers. Treatment of edema accompanying premenstrual syndrome, prevention of water retention associated w/ corticosteroids & estrogens, treatment of diabetes insipidus & prevention of renal calculus formation in patients w/ hypercalciuria.
